During my recent stay at Yumi House in Ubud, I found it to be a charming option for travelers seeking both comfort and value. The location is ideal, just a short stroll from the Monkey Forest and numerous restaurants, perfect for those wanting to explore central Ubud. Rooms are clean, equipped with essential amenities like free Wi-Fi, and feature a lovely terrace that overlooks a small garden, providing a peaceful spot to unwind. The warmth of the hospitality is notable; Mrs Desak, the owner, personally prepared breakfast, which included delicious pancakes and omelettes, catering to early risers with a custom meal before my early ferry departure. While it may not offer the extensive luxuries of larger resorts, the homey atmosphere, attentive service, and thoughtful touches-like a warm fan rather than air conditioning-make for a worthwhile experience at an attractive price. For travelers who appreciate a cozy, personal touch, Yumi House strikes a solid balance between luxury and value.
